D7- Enable Printer-friendly version

Please follow steps below to enable printer friendly page version of the content.

 

For content page.

1. Edit content and make sure that 'Show link' under 'Printer Friendly version' on 'Printer, email, PDF versions' turn on for that page.

2. Visit People -> Permission, to grant access on the role that should have access to printer friendly page under 'Access the printer-friendly page'

3. Visit Configuration -> User interface -> Printer, email, PDF versions and check to display printer friendly page link at  'Content corner'

 

For content page with Display Suite enable.

1. Follow step #2 and #3 above to enable Print Friendly version on content page.

2. Visit Configuration -> User interface -> Printer, email, PDF versions and check to display printer friendly page link at  'Links area'

3. Add 'Link' field on Manage Display on the content type settings.

 

For views/panel page.

1. Follow step #2 and #3 above to enable Print Friendly version on content page.

2. Visit Configuration -> User interface -> Printer, email, PDF versions and add URL to under 'Show link in system (non-content) pages' section

3. Visit Block page at Structure -> Block, edit 'Printer, email and PDF versions' block and assign to 'content' section for SF State Theme and add URL to visibility settings under 'Only the listed pages' section.

For adding the link to 'views/panel' page by limiting URL, add wildcard infront of the URL to ensure that the link display for both authenticate/anonymouse user link. (eg. *your-page-url)
